Privacy Policy

This policy explains how 44CLUB Movement Ltd (trading as Forged By 44, "we", "us", "our") collects, uses and protects your personal data when you use our website, buy our coaching, or complete onboarding. We are the data controller. If you have any questions, contact us at coach@forgedby44.com.

Information we collect

• Contact details you give us: name, email, phone, and social handles.
• Enquiry and onboarding answers: your goals, lifestyle, coach preference and similar.
• Health information: the answers to our health questionnaire (PAR-Q), injuries, and any conditions you tell us about. This is special category data and we treat it with extra care.
• Photos you choose to share for progress tracking.
• Payment information: payments are processed by Stripe. We receive confirmation of your purchase, the plan, and limited billing details. We never see or store your full card number.
• Usage data: basic, privacy-friendly analytics about how the site is used (see Cookies below).

How we use your information, and our legal basis

• To provide coaching and deliver your programme (performance of our contract with you).
• To keep you safe and decide whether coaching is appropriate for you (your explicit consent for health data, and our legitimate interest in safe delivery).
• To take payment and manage your account (performance of our contract, and legal obligations such as tax records).
• To contact you about your coaching and onboarding (contract), and, only if you opt in, marketing (consent).
• To run and improve our website (legitimate interest).

We only process your health data and photos where you have given us explicit consent, or where it is necessary for a health-related purpose. You can withdraw that consent at any time by contacting us.

An important note on health

We are qualified Level 3 personal trainers, not doctors, dietitians or clinicians. Our health questionnaire exists so we can coach you safely and refer you to the right professional where something is outside what we can support. We do not provide medical or clinical advice.

Who we share it with

We use trusted providers to run the business. Each only receives what they need:

• Stripe for payments.
• Supabase and Vercel for hosting and storing your data.
• Resend for sending you emails.
• Calendly when you book a call.
• Everfit, our coaching delivery app, if you become a client.

We do not sell your data. We only share it otherwise where the law requires it.

International transfers

Some of our providers are based outside the UK. Where your data is transferred internationally, it is protected by appropriate safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or equivalent.

How long we keep it

We keep your data for as long as you are a client and for a reasonable period afterwards, and longer where we must for legal or tax reasons. You can ask us to delete your data at any time, and we will unless we are legally required to keep it.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to:

• access the data we hold about you;
• have inaccurate data corrected;
• have your data deleted;
• restrict or object to how we use it;
• withdraw consent at any time;
• ask for a copy of your data in a portable format.

To exercise any of these, email coach@forgedby44.com. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.

Cookies and analytics

We use a small number of essential cookies and local storage to make the site work (for example remembering your preferences). We also use privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics to understand how the site is used. This does not track you across other websites. If we ever add advertising or tracking cookies, we will ask for your consent first.

Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data. No system is completely secure, but we work with reputable providers and limit access to your information.

Children

Our coaching is for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
